Description:

Spectra is an application designed for creating computational art from video and audio on iOS and Mac devices.

The settings files store various parameters to describe the art form, including control values, color palettes, and audio samples.

The app comes with built-in presets, video and audio samples to help users generate unique art instantly. Users can also customize their creations by using their own settings, videos, and color palettes.

Additionally, many extra presets are available within the app through the 'Show More Settings' option in the File menu.

Users have the option to save settings in the ‘MySettings’ table of the presets pane or in iCloud using the 'Save Settings in iCloud' feature in the File menu. This allows for easy sharing between iOS and Mac devices.

Saved settings and presets retain the current color palette (which can be customized in the ‘Colors’ pane) and the current audio for future use.

Spectra utilizes video frames to create color palettes and modulates line or arc length with audio. The app offers a color palette generator in the colors pane, where users can choose from various palette options such as variable, random, or grayscale.
